AquaSuites Boutique Hotel Lanzarote

Recently I had the absolute pleasure of staying in the outstanding Aqua Suites in Puerto del Carmen. From the moment we arrived we loved it, greeted at reception by reception manager Amelia with a glass of ice cold bubbly really set the tone for the rest of the week.
Nothing was ever too much to ask from any of the staff members, they were all so incredibly friendly and along with the General Manager Geraldine Mc Fadden they have created something so genuine and unique.
The rooms boasted a huge 6ft bed - and not one that comprised of 2 singles pushed together! The decor was contemporary, fresh and elegant. Having Nexflix on the massive plasma TV was another little touch that differentiates this property from all the others. Did I mention we were treated to a stocked minibar upon our arrival?
The other star of this gem is the food. Never before have I experienced the quality and selection on offer. Breakfast could be whatever you wanted it to be.....fresh fruit, pancakes, pastries, speciality coffees and all hot breakfasts cooked to order and the exciting part was checking to see what was on the menu for that evening!
Nearly all hotels I have been in that offer half board serve their evening meal as a buffet, the Aqua Suites however have an ever changing a la carte menu that would not be out of place in the finest of restaurants here in Ireland. With options such as Iberian pork, Octopus, Tuna, Veal, Ribeye Steak there is always something for everyone, the kids menu offered all of these options also.
There is a huge Jacuzzi pool and adult only area for those wishing to completely switch off, the main pool area was spotlessly clean and had loads of sun-loungers and umbrellas.
